I was not asleep!!! Zzzzzz...

Today's lit circleI was listing quietly while others carried on the conversation, occasionally adding in on the others discussion. Our group's conversation was very astute and I was helping by contributing to our groups conversation. So, it was a good first lit circle to get started with in reading "Sunrise over Fallujah".

be EMOTIONAL, be KIND

Any…..little…..trigger…..could set someone over the edge. The person just might do the unthinkable. An action that no ordinary, sane person would do to their friends and the people that stick up for them. An action that could haunt them forever or could convince them to end it right there.

In the opinionated book “Nobody Left to Hate” he tells that people are basically emotional ticking time-bombs and could just explode without warning. People could prevent such tragedies by being kinder and nicer to each other. It’s ok to joke around as long as he or she that you are making the joke at knows that it’s a joke and is not hurt by it. However, when it seems that you are serious that is where problems start, because people can be hurt a lot more emotionally than physically at times. Sometimes it may inflict wounds that pierce deeper than ocean trenches.

Be positive, encouraging, caring, respectful, peaceful, helpful, loving, loyal, trustworthy, and kind. It's ok to be emotional too in fact its good. Keeping emotions inside pinned in causes people to break down emotionally to the point in breaking down emotionally. In order to help others follow the example that I concluded from Elliot Aronson's book "Nobody Left to Hate", I will try myself to help set that example by being kinder myself.

Help Us

Many people when hit by a natural disaster will help each other, even if they are enemies. Probably because everyone was affected. So when people here about a shooting in the school all the kids are affected and all the parents are terrified for their children. So everyone tries to work out a solution.
